Inspiration can mean many things to many people, and it's effects on the human mind, body and soul can be just as varying and profound. It can stimulate us creatively, from creative thought to physical manifestions of artistic creations.

Inspiration can come to us in many forms, from the people around us and their own inspirational creations like books, music and art or even in their regular expressions of words, deeds and actions; to the world around us, especially in nature. It can come in the form of a sudden brilliant idea or realization.

Inspiration has come to me in many ways but there is always a spiritual connotation to it. Sometimes it's subtle and sometimes it's more obvious, but it's always there, whether it's from dreams I have during sleep; signs I receive throughout the day or since I am a lover of the written word, it often comes from books, poetry and other written gems that cross my path.

I started this site in late 2003 as a tiny place to share my poetry. Soon after, however, the ideas began coming in (the inspirations!) to add more inspirational things to share. By early 2004 it had grown into a web site of it´s own right; a project of inspiration that incorporates more ideas of interactive inspiration as well as information intended to empower and uplift.

I offer various types of inspiration here, such as guiding inspirations, where dreams and signs of confirmation are discussed; interactive inspirations where my guests can participate in my online gratitude journal, the wishing well and more; and written inspirations such as poetry.

I put a lot of love and care into writing and collecting some wonderful, thought-provoking things to inspire and uplift you. It is MY wish that you find something here that gives you the knowingness that you are dearly loved. So come on in... and Be, Become and Share the Inspiration!
